Karl Bonar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Karl started their career as the President of the Students Union at Technological University Dublin, where they gained experience in event management, representing student interests, and overseeing company operations. After that, they worked as a University Brand Ambassador and Field Marketing Manager at Heineken Ireland.

Moving into the marketing field, Bonar held several positions at MRM UK, including Junior Planner, Account Executive, Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and Account Director. During this time, they developed and directed integrated marketing campaigns for clients in the beverage and retail sectors, demonstrating their ability to increase client budgets and introduce new marketing strategies.

Next, Bonar became the Senior Marketing Manager for the Coors Light Brand and Coors TM Innovation at Molson Coors Canada. Karl led the biggest beer brand in Canada, managing a team and collaborating with others to stabilize the brand through excellent programming and innovation.

Bonar then transitioned to the role of Global Social Lead at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where they managed a team of global marketers and provided thought leadership and direction to a large number of people managing social pages. Karl developed the Social & Digital strategic roadmap, introduced new strategies to reach the millennial audience, and achieved outstanding results in revenue and social engagement.

Following this, Bonar became the Head of Digital at Toyota Canada Inc., leading the company's digital marketing division and managing a team. Karl was responsible for all digital properties and played a key role in developing the company's digital strategy.

Most recently, Bonar joined AutoTrader.ca as the Vice President of Consumer Marketing, where they currently hold a leadership role.
