Kieran Grieve Combes

Kieran Grieve Combes has extensive work experience in the field of information security. Kieran is currently serving as the Head of Information Security at Trainline since April 2020. Before that, they held various roles at Marks and Spencer from 2015 to 2020, including Head of Threat, Vulnerability Management & Application Security, Global Head of Security Operations (interim), and Global Red Team Manager. In these roles, they demonstrated strong knowledge in multiple domains within security and technology. Prior to Marks and Spencer, they worked as a Security Consultant at Portcullis from 2008 to 2015, where they performed security testing and auditing work for government and commercial clients. Kieran also worked at bluesource as a Systems Analyst in 2007, responsible for managing customer's Active Directory, Exchange, Email archiving, and systems monitoring. Additionally, they served as a Network and Systems Administrator at Layer3 data services in 2007 and as a Networks and Systems Engineer at Synergy UK from 2004 to 2007.

Kieran Grieve Combes completed their education from Sheffield Hallam University, where they obtained a degree in Computing and Network Communication with a focus on Information Technology. Kieran attended the university from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Kieran also holds several certifications. Kieran received the CISSP certification from (ISC)² in October 2016, the CREST Registered Tester certification from CREST in November 2013, and the Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft in March 2007.
