Adam Walter

Adam Walter has extensive experience in data science and health economics. Adam currently works as the Lead Data Scientist at Transcarent, where they are responsible for delivering production algorithms, statistical models, and industry-leading market evidence for cost effectiveness. Adam also owns and develops medical cost benchmarking algorithms. Prior to this role, Adam worked as a Data Scientist at Transcarent.

Before joining Transcarent, Adam was a Policy and Data expert at Softrams, where they helped build a small team from the ground up and reported to the director of ACO-MS.

Adam also has experience as a Research Health Economist at RTI International, where they designed and developed mathematical models for forecasting the economic and epidemiological impact of public health interventions. Adam performed cost-effectiveness and program evaluation studies for national and international programs.

Additionally, Adam has worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida. In these roles, they assisted faculty members, conducted teaching and review sessions, and conducted research using Stochastic Frontier Analysis.

Furthermore, Adam has leadership experience as the President and Vice President of AIESEC Miami, a non-profit organization. Adam doubled the number of volunteers and achieved financial stability through corporate partnerships and donations. Adam also led the Business Development and Account Delivery teams, developed and implemented sales strategy, and oversaw sales growth.

Adam Walter earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Central Florida from 2014 to 2018. Adam then pursued a Master's Degree in Economics from the same institution from 2018 to 2019. In October 2023, they obtained a Value-based Care Analytics Certificate from CareJourney.
