Tomer Curiel

Director, Rail Expansion Program at TransLink

Tomer Curiel has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Tomer started their career at Génivar Inc as a Mechanical Designer from September 2010 to March 2011. Tomer then worked at Colliers Project Leaders as a Senior Project Manager and Interior BC Lead from May 2006 to June 2018. After that, they joined Engineers and Geoscientists BC as a Councillor from July 2008 to October 2021. In 2018, Tomer joined TransLink as a Senior Project Manager and later became the Director of the Rail Expansion Program. Currently, they mentor at the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) starting from January 2024.

Tomer Curiel completed a Urban Design certificate at Simon Fraser University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a M.A.Sc. in Materials Engineering from The University of British Columbia from 2002 to 2006. Tomer'sundergraduate degree is a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. In addition, they have obtained various professional certifications such as Fellow of Engineers Canada, LEED AP BD+C accreditation, and several project management certifications. Tomer is also a registered Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
