Jim Poulton

Jim Poulton has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 20 years. Jim began their career at HSBC as a Senior Auditor in Capital Markets from 1996 to 2000. Jim then moved on to Tate & Lyle, where they served as a Commercial/Planning Analyst from 2001 to 2004 and later as an Accounting Manager in the Americas from 2005 to 2006. Jim then joined ACCO Brands as a Financial Controller for the UK & Ireland before being promoted to the position of European Director of Finance & Accounting from 2010 to 2011. Jim most recently worked at Trek Bicycle, first as the European Controller from 2011 to 2015, and then as the Europe Finance Director from 2015 onwards.

Jim Poulton started their education journey in 1992 at The University of Sheffield, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Economics. Jim completed their four-year undergraduate program in 1996. Following this, from 1996 to 1999, Jim enrolled in the ACCA - Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period. Additionally, they hold the certification of FCCA from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, though the date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
