Marlena Duda is a Postdoctoral Researcher at TReNDS Center since September 2021, following a comprehensive academic and professional journey in the field of computational medicine and bioinformatics. Prior to this position, Marlena completed a PhD in Bioinformatics at the University of Michigan, where involvement as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow included dual master's studies in statistics. Previous experience includes an internship at Genentech focusing on machine learning and AI in clinical pharmacology, and a role as a Data Analyst at Stanford University. Additionally, Marlena held the position of Associate in Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School, contributing to research on autism behavioral classifiers and publication trends in genetic human disease. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northeastern University.
