Laura West

Laura West has had a diverse range of work experiences. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Tennis Coach at David Lloyd Leisure, where they coached children and assisted with adult group sessions. In 2021, they interned as a Conservation Intern at GVI, where they learned about coral species, conducted underwater surveys, and attended lectures on marine environments. Laura then joined TRIA in 2022, first as a Delivery Consultant, where they won the 'One to watch 2022' Award and played a key role in the Sustainability group. Laura later became a Sales Consultant, building a client network, sourcing candidates for IT vacancies, and supporting initiatives such as Women @ TRIA and TREE-A.

Laura West attended Balcarras School and Sixth Form Centre from 2015 to 2017, where they pursued A levels in Geography, Physical Education, and Business. After completing their A levels, they went on to study at Oxford Brookes University from 2017 to 2020. There, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geography, specialized in Oceans and Marine Environments.
