Kelli Herd, MPA

Kelli Herd, MPA, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kelli is currently the Director of Development at Lamp for Haiti since June 2021. Before that, they worked at Tribal Tech, LLC as an Associate Program Manager starting in August 2020. Kelli also has experience as the Owner of StarChild Camps from May 2016 to May 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director of WorldPlay, Inc. from September 2009 to April 2016. Kelli also worked as the Associate Director of Institutional Giving at Literacy Partners, Inc. from January 2009 to July 2010. Additionally, Kelli has been the Director of Development at Bridge Street Development Corporation from February 2008 to December 2008, and a Community and Housing Development Specialist at HAZELWOOD INITIATIVE INC from November 2005 to February 2008. Kelli has also worked as a Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and as an Intern at the University of Pittsburgh. Kelli began their career as a Special Program Assistant at the International Foundation for Education and Self-Help from August 1998 to January 2000.

Kelli Herd, MPA has a diverse education history. Kelli began their education at the University of Pittsburgh, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in English Writing from 1988 to 1992. Later, in 2005 to 2007, Kelli attended the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA), where they earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a focus on Nonprofit Management.

In 2015, Kelli pursued real estate education and obtained a New York State Real Estate License from the Real Estate Education Center. Finally, from 2016 to 2018, they enrolled at the Brooklyn College School of Education to earn a Master's degree in English Secondary Education.
