Portia Burgess-Edwards, MHRM has over 18 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources. Portia began their career as a Recruitment Consultant at Manpower in 2011. From there, they moved to Novo Nordisk as a Strategic Sourcing Specialist/Team Lead in 2012. In 2015, they became a Pharmaceutical Sales Recruiter at inVentiv Health Commercial. In 2016, they were a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Consultant at Bayer. In 2018, they joined PPD as a Strategic Sourcing Specialist/Recruiter. In 2019, they became a Recruiter, Scientific Operations at LabConnect. Portia is currently a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist-Commercial at Waters Corporation and a Manager, Talent Acquisition at Triumvira Immunologics, Inc., where they manage corporate functions recruitment and is responsible for managing RPO and Agency partnerships. Portia also collaborates with the Head of HR to build, socialize, and rollout EVP, DEI & B, and create training and targeted goals for hiring practices across the USA and Canada.
