Alysia Swanson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Alysia is currently employed at TuSimple as a Technical Program Manager, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Collins Aerospace from 2019 to 2022, first as a Systems Engineer I and then as a Systems Engineer II. At Target in 2018, they served as an Operations Management Intern, where they coordinated and scheduled daily functions, developed a computer program, and ensured performance plans were met.

In 2017, Alysia worked at Michelin as an Industrial Engineering CO-OP, where they completed rotations involving simulation software, data analysis, and process improvement. Alysia obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and contributed to significant cost savings.

Alysia Swanson completed their education with an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering & Engineering Management from South Dakota Mines, from 2015 to 2019. Alysia then pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science at Dakota State University, starting in 2020 and expected to complete it in 2023. Additionally, Alysia obtained a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online in 2017. Alysia also possesses professional certifications including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from North Carolina State University, obtained in September 2017, and a Resident Producer of Accident & Health or Sickness, Life certification from the South Dakota Division of Insurance, obtained in May 2016.
