Paul Sloan has an extensive work experience in communications and journalism. Paul currently serves as the Chief Communications Officer at TuSimple since November 2022. From January 2014 to February 2019, they held the position of Vice President of Communications at Quotient Technology Inc., managing global external and internal communications. Paul also has editorial experience, having worked as the Editor In Chief and VP of CNET News at CBS Interactive from 2010 to 2014, and as the Executive Editor of BNET from 2009 to 2010. Paul began their journalism career at Time Inc., serving as Senior Writer at Fortune Magazine and Editor-at-Large at Business 2.0.

Paul Sloan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Vassar College. Paul later pursued a Master of Science degree in Journalism at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
