Helena Torkko

Helena Torkko is an experienced communications professional with a background in various roles, including Senior Specialist at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment since August 2014, and previously as a Communications Officer at Kela from September 2012 to August 2014. Prior to this, Helena worked as a Project Coordinator and Communications Officer at Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences from February 2010 to September 2012. Additional experience includes freelance journalism and a role as a Communications Assistant at the Employment and Economic Development Centre for Northern Ostrobothnia. Helena holds a Master's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Tampere and is currently pursuing a Master's in Economics and Business Administration, specializing in Information Systems, at the University of Jyväskylä.
