Carlos Iglesias has extensive experience in plant breeding and agricultural development, currently serving as a Committee Member at the USDA since September 2021 and as the Director of the Plant Breeding Consortium and Professor in Horticulture at North Carolina State University since January 2020. Prior roles include Strategic Advisor at Avalo, Inc. and Advisor for the World Vegetable Center, where participation in the External Program Management Review Team occurred. Carlos Iglesias held several leadership positions at Syngenta from 2012 to 2019, focusing on NA Cereals Seed Development and wheat genetic technology.
