Dunya al Marzooqi

Dunya Al Marzooqi is currently a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, where responsibilities include teaching Biochemical Engineering Laboratory (170L), alongside other graduate-level courses such as CBE 170A and CBE 142. Dunya also serves as a Laboratory Manager and Graduate Student Researcher in the Zhang Lab. Prior experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Student Researcher and Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at Purdue University, working under the guidance of Professors Vivek Narsimhan and John Morgan, conducting research on Tryptophan production and metabolic analysis. Dunya's early research experience includes working as a High School Research Assistant at United Arab Emirates University, focusing on membrane technology for carbon capture and water desalination. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, Dunya holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
