Rob de Leede

UEFA Champions League Media Officer at UEFA

Rob de Leede has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Rob is currently working as a Docent at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences since July 2023. Prior to that, they have been running their own consultancy, Rob de Leede Consultancy, since January 2014. Rob has also served as a Partner at We Like Media BV since January 2014. In terms of sports events, they have worked as a UEFA Champions League Media Officer for UEFA starting in August 2011. Rob also worked as a Media Operations Manager for UEFA Women's EURO2017 from July 2017 to August 2017. Rob briefly worked as a Media Officer at FIFA in May 2019 to June 2019. Rob has experience in venue media operations management as they served as a Venue Media Operations Manager for EURO2016 from January 2016 to July 2016. Rob also worked as a Communications Consultant for Vitesse Arnhem from September 2014 to November 2015. In the past, they were involved in event promotion for Stichting Europa League Finale Amsterdam 2013 from March 2012 to May 2013. Additionally, they have a long history of working with the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) as a Communications and Press Officer from 1988 to May 2013. Rob also holds the experience of managing communication for the CPISRA World Cup 7-a-side football event in 2011.

Rob de Leede completed their education in a chronological order. Rob first attended SG Spieringshoek Schiedam from 1972 to 1978, where they pursued VWO. Following that, they enrolled at Leiden University from 1978 to 1987, where they completed their degree in English Language and Literature, earning a drs. degree. Lastly, from 2016 to 2018, Rob attended Wagner Group in Groningen, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Sport Management.
