Mahsa Lotfi Marchoubeh is a Research Scientist III at UL Research Institutes, focusing on the development of analytical chemistry methods aimed at understanding combustion mechanisms and fire effluent composition for firefighter safety. Previously, Mahsa served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Arkansas, specializing in the detection and differentiation of neurotransmitters using miniaturized probes, with achievements in device design and electrochemical characterization. Mahsa's experience also includes research roles at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pittsburgh, performing advanced microfabrication techniques and in vivo neurochemical measurements. Mahsa's early career involved internships and QA roles in pharmaceutical and steel industries, contributing to significant quality improvements. Mahsa holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Arkansas and a Master's degree from Isfahan University of Technology.
