Troy Freeland

Troy Freeland is an accomplished HR leader with extensive experience in human resources management, currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources at UL since 2014. With a focus on employee experience, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), and HR technology, Troy has successfully implemented strategies that enhanced global employee engagement, particularly through hybrid working models. Prior roles include HR Director, where Troy guided talent alignment and engagement for corporate functions, and HR Manager at Barclays, providing HR advisory during challenging economic times. Troy has also contributed to significant projects at London 2012, CommScope, and Bosch. An alumnus of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with an MBA, Troy brings a proven track record of driving HR initiatives that align with business strategies and foster organizational success.
