Eric Milliken Pe, Ptoe

Eric Milliken, PE, PTOE has a diverse work experience in the field of traffic engineering. Eric is currently working as the Lead Traffic Engineer at Ulteig, starting in September 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Traffic Engineer at the City of Laramie - City Government from September 2016 to August 2021.

Before joining the City of Laramie, Eric worked as a Traffic Engineer at DOWL from August 2015 to September 2016. Eric also gained experience as a Traffic EIT at HDR from June 2013 to June 2015.

Eric's early career includes roles such as Research Assistant at the University of Wyoming from June 2011 to May 2013. Here, they assisted with research projects funded by the Wyoming Department of Transportation, focusing on travel time and travel time reliability for rural highways in Wyoming, as well as pavement structure research.

Prior to their work at the University of Wyoming, Eric served as an Engineer I in the WyDOT Design Squad from January 2010 to May 2011. Here, they utilized Microstation to develop plans for WyDOT construction projects, including design projects such as a right turn lane at a busy intersection and snow fences along Wyoming highways.

Before their time at WyDOT, Eric gained early experience as a Lab Technician (Seasonal) at Tetra Tech from May 2008 to August 2009. In this role, they performed various soil sample tests, both in the lab and out in the field, including tests such as Atterberg, gradation, unconfined compression, r-value, CBR, proctor compaction, and soil resistivity.

Overall, Eric Milliken has a solid background in traffic engineering, with experience in leading roles, research, and design.

Eric Milliken, PE, PTOE holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Civil Engineering, which they obtained from the University of Wyoming. Eric pursued this degree from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering at the same institution, graduating between 2006 and 2011.
