Susie Hammond

Susie Hammond started their work experience in 1997 at Novartis as a Pharmacovigilance Assistant. Susie then joined Eli Lilly in 2001 as a Clinical Development Associate. In 2004, they began working at GSK, starting as a Study Manager and eventually progressing to Senior Director of Clinical Operations. At GSK, Susie has been responsible for leading the COVID-19 therapeutics clinical operations team and overseeing the strategic execution and operational delivery of global clinical programs. Susie has experience in various therapeutic areas including respiratory, inflammation, dermatology, and neuroscience. In 2022, Susie moved to Ultragenyx, where they initially held the role of Vice President and is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Global Clinical Operations Head.

Susie Hammond attended Collingwood College from 1986 to 1992, where they completed their GCSE/A level education. Susie then went on to study Agriculture at the Royal Agricultural University from 1993 to 1996, earning a BSc degree.
