Teresa O'Sullivan

Ms. Teresa O'Sullivan has an extensive background in traditional and online marketing, particularly in performance-based marketing.

Prior to Brandman University, Teresa was the Vice President of Marketing for Corinthian Colleges, Inc. Teresa built a team of 50 marketing professionals and managed a $180 million marketing budget. She was responsible for overseeing all inquiry activities for 110 schools in the U.S. and Canada. Her oversight included TV, newsprint, direct mail, radio and all online efforts including but not limited to SEO, affiliate and PPC campaigns. Her efforts and leadership resulted in acquisition costs dropping by over 30% while growing enrollment for six consecutive years. She directed the development of a new web site and introduced a social media strategy around Facebook and LinkedIn to serve as a dynamic customer service, retention and referral pipeline.

Early in her career, Teresa managed retention and acquisition campaigns for the Personal Card division of American Express and became the first Director of Database Services marketing where she coordinated the design and implementation of a new relational database supporting all Card acquisition efforts. She next used her skills in driving membership for the $28 million books-by-mail business for the Walt Disney Company. As Chief Marketing Officer for IGN.com she assisted in raising capital and taking the company public. The site is now privately held but remains the number one destination for male gamers.

Teresa has a B.A. in Government from Harvard University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
