Michael Ellis

Michael Ellis is a Research Technician Lead at the University of Michigan, where Michael has been working since February 2018. Prior to this, Michael was a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Georgia from May 2012 to May 2017, focusing on studying CRISPR-Cas systems in Pyrococcus furiosus. Michael also worked as a Laboratory Technician at Duke University from April 2011 to October 2011, and as a Research Intern at DuPont Pioneer from March 2010 to November 2010. Michael's experience includes projects in biochemistry, molecular biology, genotyping, QTL mapping, DNA extraction, and maize trait development.
