Okanda S. Eugine

Okanda S. Eugine, BSc, currently serves as the Kenya United Nations Youth Representative, advocating for youth interests within the UN system since March 2024. Additionally, Okanda holds the position of Chairperson for the Governance Internship Program at Hesabika and is the Founder and Executive Director of the Unlock Young Leaders Summit, overseeing organizational operations and fundraising initiatives. Previous experience includes a project internship at the State Department for Youth Affairs and Creative Economy, a content supervisor role at the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, and a laboratory attaché stint at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital. Okanda's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Kenyatta University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Theology at Africa International University, expected to complete in July 2024.
