Genevieve Levy

Genevieve Levy has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within nonprofit organizations and the public sector. Most recently, they served as the Chief Program Officer and Interim Chief Program Officer at United Way California Capital Region, overseeing program development and implementation. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Impact at the same organization. Before joining United Way, Genevieve worked as the District Director for Assemblymember McCarty in California State Assembly. Genevieve had also spent a significant portion of their career at the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services, where they held roles such as Director of Family Services and Programs Director. In these positions, they managed multiple programs, supervised staff, and handled day-to-day operations. Genevieve has a proven track record of strategic planning, partnership management, and staff training.

Genevieve Levy received their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Spanish from the University of California, Davis, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In 2013, they completed the Executive Leadership Program at the University of California Davis Extension Center. In 2015, they attended the Sacramento Metro Chamber Foundation for Leadership Sacramento, although no degree was obtained during this time.
