Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Public Relations/ Public Affairs/ Leadership from Central Michigan University in 2016. Stephanie has also obtained additional certifications including "Difficult Conversations: Talking about Race at Work" from LinkedIn in 2023, "Diversity and Inclusion for HR Certificate" from Cornell University in 2021, and they participated in "The Leadershape Institute" in 2014.
