Luis Gabriel Bernal Pulido

Luis Gabriel Bernal Pulido has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare and education. Luis Gabriel is currently serving as the Representative of the Intersectoral Commission of Human Resources for Health of Colombia at the Colombian Ministry of Education. In addition, they hold the position of Senior International Consultant in Health Systems and Primary Health Care at The World Bank.

Luis Gabriel has also worked in academia, holding the role of Principal Professor at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at Universidad del Rosario. Luis Gabriel has also served as an Expert Technical Facilitator at Results for Development and as an Independent Consultant of Human Resources for Health at the Pan American Health Organization.

Furthermore, they have held teaching positions at various universities, including Universidad del Rosario, Universidad de La Sabana, and Universidad de Santander. Luis Gabriel has also served as the National Director of Human Resources for Health at the Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social de Colombia.

Luis Gabriel Bernal Pulido holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Universidad El Bosque, which they obtained from 1993 to 1998. Luis Gabriel then pursued a degree in Family Medicine at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Lastly, Bernal Pulido completed a Master of Public Health degree at UNSW from 2011 to 2012, focusing on Public Health.
