Eddy Bajic has held the position of Full Professor of Industrial Computer Sciences and Automation Sciences at Université de Lorraine since October 1998, contributing to both undergraduate and graduate education. With a PhD in Automatic Control and Computer Engineering obtained in 1988, and a Research Director degree acquired in 1995, Eddy has also served as the Mission Head to the President of Université de Lorraine for Education Development in Defence and National Security. Concurrently, Eddy is a Research Director at CRAN, specializing in RFID and IoT technologies, and has held various advisory roles including Independent Scientific Expert for the European Commission and Scientific Expert for the French National Research Agency. Eddy is active in standardization efforts as a member of multiple committees including ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 41. Previous significant roles include Head of the Institute of Technology at Université de Lorraine and External Assessor for the ERASMUS+ program. Eddy holds multiple degrees including MSc, PhD, and HDR in Industrial Computer Sciences and Automation Control from Université Henri Poincaré.
