Katherine Manuel

SVP Ambulatory Services (system) at University Health

Katherine Manuel has over 17 years of experience in healthcare administration and operations. From 2004 to 2010, they served as the Chief Operating Officer/Vice-President at Palo Alto Medical Foundation, Santa Cruz, where they were responsible for all aspects of medical foundation clinical operations and hospital operations. Katherine successfully implemented growth and new services during their tenure. From 2010 to 2019, they worked as the Chief Operations Officer at Sutter Gould Medical Foundation, overseeing overall company operations and resources. Katherine led system-level teams for various Sutter-wide initiatives and established effective dyad structures with physicians. From 2019 to 2020, they were the Chief Operating Officer at Dignity Health Medical Foundation. Currently, Katherine Manuel holds the position of SVP Ambulatory Services (System) at University Health starting in 2021.

Katherine Manuel completed their Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration from San Jose State University from 1987 to 1991. Later, from 1997 to 1999, they pursued a Master's degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.
