Pedro Pineda

Pedro Pineda is an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) at the University of Bath since September 2021. Prior to this role, Pedro served as a Visiting Scholar at USI Università della Svizzera italiana and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the German Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies. Experience also includes a postdoctoral researcher position at INCHER, University of Kassel, and a visiting scholar role at Stanford University. An educational consultant for the Ministry of Education Secretariat in Bogota, Pedro established the impact of peace education and moral education programs. Previously, Pedro held academic positions at various universities, focusing on developmental psychology, comparative education, and educational policy. Pedro's educational background includes a Habilitation in Sociology from the University of Kassel and a Dr. Phil. in Education from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
