Suneil Koliwad is a highly accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as a Professor in Residence at the University of California, San Francisco, since July 2003. As an Investigator in the Diabetes Center at UCSF, Suneil Koliwad focuses on the connections between nutritional excess, inflammation, and metabolic diseases, including obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. In addition to research, Suneil Koliwad teaches in graduate and medical schools and provides patient care at San Francisco General Hospital.
