Jennifer Hodges Stephens

Jennifer Hodges Stephens currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Communications and Marketing at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a position held since April 2020. Previously, Jennifer held multiple roles at Georgia Gwinnett College, including Deputy Chief of Staff and Interim Executive Director of Government and External Relations from July 2006 to March 2020, and Associate Vice President of Public Affairs and Director of Public Affairs at the American Council on Education from March 2015 to June 2016. Jennifer also participated as a Fellow in the Institute for Management and Leadership in Education at Harvard University in 2014. Earlier in career, Jennifer served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Georgia Perimeter College from January 1998 to June 2006. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Higher Education Administration from The University of Georgia, a Master of Divinity (MDiv) in Biblical Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with double majors in Psychology and Graphic Design from Auburn University, complemented by studies at Université Paris-Sorbonne.
