Samantha Fox

Samantha Fox is a Faculty Lecturer at the University of Vermont, focusing on biomedical design, signals and systems, and wearable sensors since January 2020. Currently a PhD candidate, Samantha supports the translation of wearable technology and develops data-driven algorithms for applications such as fall mitigation and gait analysis. Additionally, as Co-Director of the Center for Biomedical Innovation, engagement with stakeholders and project guidance are key responsibilities. Previous experience includes roles as a Research and Development Intern at Delsys, Inc., and Biomechanist at Thomas Jefferson University, overseeing operations in the Human Performance Lab. In academia, Samantha holds a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University and has contributed to various innovative projects leading to patents in healthcare technology.
