Senior Portfolio Director For Asia, Middle East And Northern Africa at URC

Jean Margaritis has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Currently, Jean is the Portfolio Director for Asia, Middle East, and Northern Africa at University Research Co., LLC (URC) & Center for Human Services (CHS), where they are responsible for advancing and managing international health projects in the mentioned regions. Before joining Abt Associates, Jean worked at The CAP Agency as a Family Services Coordinator, where they developed emergency services and crisis intervention for vulnerable populations. They also took on the role of Director of Programs/Co-Founder at The G.R.O. Foundation Lesotho, where they established and grew a non-profit organization with a focus on social development.

Jean has also worked as a Volunteer Coordinator at OHAfrica, maximizing the impact of international and medical volunteers, and as an HIV/AIDS Advisor for the US Peace Corps in Lesotho, where they provided program development and technical assistance.

Jean's earlier experience includes working as a Program Coordinator at the University of Montana-Missoula.
