The Role

This is a significant career opportunity to develop a rare expertise in a critical field while contributing to other work the firm does in the healthcare industry.
Unlock Health seeks a senior director to work in the firm's nationally recognized and leading practice focused on the relationship between payors and providers, specifically payor strategy, negotiation analytics, contract language review, and communication around networks, contract disputes. The senior director will work with the CEO, CFO, head of payor relations, general counsel, and other key executives inside provider organizations. Internally, the senior director will bring Unlock's SMEs and executives into conversations and meetings where their expertise and experience can benefit the client. The senior director is the primary point of contact for the company's clients, serving as their account manager but also their day-to-day strategist and quarterback for all workstreams designed to bring the clients' issues to a successful conclusion. Overall, senior directors will oversee the development of multidisciplinary, multi-channel, and multi-audience plans that include all the elements of a brand campaign.
The right candidate will have a background in the hospital, physician, or specialty care environments, and will have a strong understanding of (or desire to learn about) the marketing of healthcare and the relationship between payor and provider.
