Renu Joshi

Vice President Chronic Disease Management Population Health at UPMC

Renu Joshi is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in chronic disease management. Currently serving as Vice President of Chronic Disease Management and Population Health at UPMC Pinnacle since January 2002, Renu has successfully streamlined both inpatient and outpatient diabetes programs and is now focused on developing programs for various chronic conditions. Previously, Renu was the Director of Chronic Disease Programs at Max Health Care, where foundational programs for diabetes, chronic kidney disease, arthritis, and COPD were established. Additionally, Renu served as an Assistant Professor at Hershey Medical Center, initiating clinical diabetes services. Renu holds an MBBS degree in Medicine from King George Medical School in Lucknow, India, completed between 1979 and 1984.
