Customer Success Manager at Upper Hand

Shawn Burcham is the current Customer Success Manager at Upper Hand. Prior to that, they were with the Indy Fuel Hockey Club from June 2016 to January 2018 as their Corporate Ticket Sales Executive. Shawn was responsible for developing and managing relationships to drive season and group ticket sales, achieving the 2017-18 ticket revenue goal of $200,000 three months prior to season’s end. Shawn also effectively managed relationships to complete renewal rate of 80% of Season Ticket accounts three months prior to start of 2017-18 season. Shawn developed their own leads by prospecting new contacts via phone calls and face-to-face presentations that led to ticket sales and generating referrals, leading to 25% increase in overall group ticket sales from previous season. Shawn assisted in creation of initiatives that led to season and group sales (i.e. Group Experience Packages, Industry Nights, Group Leader Appreciation Day). Shawn also managed and assisted with fulfillment for groups on game days/events and completing touch points with season ticket holders.

Before their time with the Indy Fuel Hockey Club, Shawn was the Supervisor of Ticket Development with the St. Louis Cardinals from June 2014 to June 2016. And prior to that, Shawn was a Corporate Ticket Sales Intern with the Pacers Sports & Entertainment from October 2013 to May 2014.

Shawn Burcham holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Indiana University Bloomington. Shawn also has a certification from the American Management Association in Certificate of Completion in Management Skills for New Managers.

Shawn Burcham reports to Myles Grote, Co-Founder, Chief of Product. They work with Keely McGrath - Product marketer, Gabrielle Vuyk - Strategic Partner Manager, and Maddie Radcliff - Software Sales, Enterprise.
