Cheri Li

Cheri Li has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Cheri worked at Emerald Therapeutics from 2014 to 2016 as the Deputy Director of Scientific Development, where they were responsible for implementing automation processes and managing lab facilities. Cheri also collaborated with external vendors and developed protocols and automation scripts.

Cheri Li worked at UPSIDE Foods from 2018, starting as a Senior Engineer in Process Development before moving up to Senior Engineering Manager and then Associate Director of Process Development. Cheri eventually became the Associate Director of Manufacturing Science & Technology.

Before working at Emerald Therapeutics and UPSIDE Foods, Cheri Li was a Doctoral Candidate at MIT from 2008 to 2013 and a Graduate Teaching Assistant in 2010. Cheri also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Stanford University from 2006 to 2008 and at the University of Minnesota in 2005. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Merck Engineering & Technology Fellow in both 2006 and 2007.

Cheri Li completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University in 2008. Cheri went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2013.
