Ryan Merkin

Ryan Merkin is the Vice President Business Development at BlocPower since October 2021. Ryan also serves as an Instructor for LL97 Building Energy Compliance Seminar at The City University of New York since February 2021. With an educational background in Geosystems from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Mathematics from University at Albany, Ryan has a wealth of experience in the energy and engineering industry, holding previous roles such as Director of Strategy and Engineering at Sentient Buildings LLC and Vice President at Steven Winter Associates. Ryan is currently an Instructor for Energy Code at Urban Green Council. Prior to their current roles, Ryan worked as an Energy Analyst at Association for Energy Affordability, Inc. from 2004 to 2007.
