Michael Bueche

Michael Bueche is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as the Head of the Chief Technology Office at USAA since May 2023. Previously, Michael held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Silicon Valley Bank from May 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities included preparing the organization for future technological advancements. Michael has an extensive career at USAA from July 2007 to May 2021, where roles included P&C Modernization Executive and various leadership positions in IT Operational Excellence, Quality Engineering, and Applied Research & Development. Michael also has experience in web development and consulting, having worked at BSG Clearing Solutions, Y&L Consulting, and Goetting & Associates. Education includes a Master’s degree from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
