Robert Thurner

Robert Thurner has a strong background in the healthcare industry, particularly in managed care. Robert has held various leadership roles throughout their career. In their most recent position as President of USA Managed Care Organization (USA MCO), they had broad operational responsibilities and oversaw the national marketing and sales program. Prior to that, they served as President and Chief Operating Officer of ECHO Health, Inc., where they managed the day-to-day business functions of the company. Robert also served as the Chief Executive Officer of the USA Institute of Managed Care, where they managed the operations of a national healthcare think tank. Additionally, they have experience as President of USA MCO and Executive Director of Los Angeles Foundation for Medical Care. Robert began their career as the Chief Executive Officer of San Diego Foundation for Medical Care, where they were responsible for the overall operation of one of the largest preferred provider organizations in the area. Overall, Thurner has a wealth of experience in managing and leading healthcare organizations.

Robert Thurner completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration at San Diego State University in an unspecified year before 1976. Robert then went on to earn a Master's degree in Public Administration from the same university, graduating in 1981. In 2018, they obtained a certification as a HFMA Member from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
