Dr. Gabriel Uribe

LTJG - Scientist at USPHS Commissioned Corps

Dr. Gabriel Uribe, DSW, currently serves as the Director of Health Equity Operations at IEHP since August 2011, with previous roles including Director of Community Health, Independent Living and Diversity Services Manager, Medicare Business Analyst, and Disability Community Representative. Dr. Uribe also holds the position of LTJG - Scientist in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service since August 2022 and is an Adjunct Professor of Social Work at La Sierra University since January 2019. Additionally, Dr. Uribe is the President & Chairman of the Inland Empire Disabilities Collaborative since May 2016 and served as the Site Based Operations Manager for the Partnership to Uplift Communities from December 2009 to August 2011 and Deputy Director of Development and Program Supervisor for Best Buddies International from August 2006 to November 2009. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Social Work from the University of Southern California, a Master's degree in Public Administration from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from La Sierra University.
