Hardeep Kaur

Hardeep Kaur, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Scientist at UT Health San Antonio since February 2019, with prior experience as an Associate Research Scientist and Assistant Research Scientist at Yale University School of Medicine. Hardeep has a robust background in research, having completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institutes of Health from January 2012 to February 2018 and earning a Ph.D. in Genetics, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology from the Institute of Microbial Technology, where the doctoral research focused on the isolation and characterization of a novel glutathione degradation pathway using budding yeast. Additionally, Hardeep holds a Master of Biochemistry from the University of Delhi, South Campus, where studies included the role of viral coat proteins in cell-to-cell fusions and phage display techniques to screen peptides related to HIV.
