Tharun Ramagoni has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and web applications. Tharun started their career at StudioTale as a Web Application Developer, where they designed and developed responsive web pages using MVC architecture and integrated data from various back-end services.

After that, Tharun worked as an Instructional Assistant at the University of Houston, where they maintained and developed web pages for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Tharun then joined UT Health San Antonio as an Application System Programmer, where they designed, developed, and tested web applications using PHP MVC framework and JavaScript. Tharun also assisted in the development of database-driven web applications and created modular, scalable, and performant subsystems using software engineering best practices.

Tharun later became a Senior Web Application Developer at UT Health San Antonio, where they designed, developed, and tested web applications following current web standards and best practices. Tharun used React.js to create complex user interfaces and integrated them with various back-end services.

Currently, Tharun holds the position of Lead Software Engineer/Architect at UT Health San Antonio. In this role, they are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new software products, as well as enhancing existing web applications. Tharun successfully led the migration of a legacy application to React functional components and hooks, resulting in improved bundle size and developer productivity. Tharun also focuses on developing high-quality and performance-oriented codebase using React JS.

Tharun Ramagoni holds a Master of Computer Science degree from the University of Houston, which was obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, Tharun completed a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science from 2008 to 2012. Tharun has also obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in May 2023.
