Rodrigo Toledo

Rodrigo Toledo, PhD MBA, has a wealth of experience in the field of oncology and translational research. Rodrigo has worked as a Principal Investigator and a Translational Cancer Scientist at the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) since 2017. Prior to that, they were a Translational Researcher at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) from 2014 to 2016. Rodrigo also served as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at UT Health San Antonio from 2011 to 2014, focusing on genomics of hereditary cancer syndromes. Rodrigo completed their PhD in Healthcare and Life Sciences at the University of Sao Paulo Medical School (FM USP) in 2010, where they also earned their Masters degree in Genetics of Hereditary Cancer Syndromes from 2004 to 2007.

Rodrigo Toledo, PhD MBA, attended the following institutions for their education. Rodrigo completed their Executive MBA at IESE Business School from 2018 to 2020. In 2019, they also studied Marketing in Latinamerica & Business in Brazil at ISE Business School. Prior to their business studies, they pursued their academic career in medical genetics. Rodrigo earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human/Medical Genetics from Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo from 2007 to 2011. Before that, they obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Genetics, Hereditary Cancer Syndromes from the same university from 2004 to 2007. Rodrigo also holds a Biomedicine Degree from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, which they completed from 2008 to 2011. Rodrigo'seducation journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from USP, which they received from 1999 to 2003.
