Rebekah Griesenauer

Rebekah Griesenauer, PhD has extensive work experience in data science and research. Rebekah currently holds the position of Director, Data Platform at Valo since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Manager, Data Science at Valo from May 2019 to April 2022.

Before joining Valo, Rebekah served as a Data Science and Research Consultant at Ripeta, LLC from April 2018 to May 2019. Rebekah was responsible for providing expertise in data science and research for the company.

Rebekah also has experience in academia. Rebekah worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Accelerated Innovation at the Center for Research Innovation and Biotechnology (CRIB) at Washington University in St. Louis from January 2017 to May 2019. In this role, their primary focus was on aggregating and synthesizing data to study trends in healthcare innovation.

Prior to their postdoctoral fellowship, Rebekah was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University from August 2012 to December 2016. Rebekah conducted research in the field of their expertise during this time.

Rebekah began their research career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Missouri, where they worked from August 2010 to September 2012.

Rebekah also had the opportunity to gain industry experience as an Engineering Intern at Lincoln SKF in 2012. Furthermore, they served as a CDRH Medical Device Fellow at the Food and Drug Administration for a brief period in 2011.
