Rainer Platz has extensive work experience in the medical device industry. Rainer started their career at ETA SA/Swatch Group, where they worked as an Adjoint Scientifique, assessing new technologies in various domains. Rainer then joined Phonak Communications AG, where they held multiple roles, including Director of Research & Development and Head of Research & Development. During their time at Phonak, Platz played a crucial role in developing breakthrough platforms and product portfolios, leading to significant sales growth and market leadership. Rainer also worked as Director of Research & Development at Valtronic Technologies Group before becoming the company's CEO.
