Kris Lauryssen

Kris Lauryssen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kris started their career as an Assistant Accountant at Banden Bernaerts Belgium in 1988, followed by a period of military service in the Belgian Army. After completing their military service, they worked as an Accountant/File Leader at Accountskantoor J. Van Loon & Co from 1990 to 1992. Kris then joined Janssen Pharmaceutica as a Senior Accountant for two years before transitioning to Thermo Fisher Scientific. At Thermo Fisher Scientific, they held various positions including General Ledger Accountant, Accounting Manager, and Site Finance Lead from 1994 to 2011. Following their time at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Kris worked as a Finance Manager at Industrial Glass Processing/Martens Glas Design for five years. In 2016, they became a Finance professional at Search for a new challenging position until 2017. Currently, Kris is serving as the Chief Accountant at Van Hool.

Kris Lauryssen completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool between 1986 and 1988. Prior to that, they attended Klein Seminarie Hoogstraten from 1980 to 1986, but the degree name and field of study are unknown.
