Craig French FCA CertBALM® has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Craig is currently employed at Vanquis Banking Group as the Head of Treasury Finance, where they lead a team in delivering accurate and timely reporting information, overseeing prudential reporting of capital, liquidity, and market risk.

Prior to this, Craig held various roles at Provident Financial Group (PFG), including Senior Manager in Treasury Finance, where they were responsible for prudential reporting and business partnering with the wider group. Craig also served as the Senior Manager in Group Treasury, managing balance sheet management, capital management, and regulatory reporting.

Before joining Provident Financial Group, Craig worked at Univar as the General Ledger Regional Lead, overseeing general ledger activities and managing a team. Craig also had a role at Yorkshire Water as the Group Financial Accountant, supporting financial reporting needs and producing consolidated accounts.

Craig began their career at Deloitte UK as an Assistant Manager, gaining experience in statutory audit work and completing audit fieldwork.

Craig French FCA CertBALM® obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Medical Science from the University of Leeds from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Whitcliffe Mount School from 1997 to 2002. Additionally, Craig has obtained the CertBALM® certification from the UK Asset and Liability Management Association Limited in 2021, and is also an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, which they obtained in 2011.
