Laura Woodrup has a diverse range of work experience in the mental health field. Laura began their career as a Family Centered Specialist at the Institute for Family Centered Services in 2005, and later worked as an Outpatient Therapist at Visions of Hope from 2006 to 2008. Laura then served as the Chief Operations Officer at Family Legacy Mental Health Services, Inc from 2008 to 2012. Laura joined Western Highlands Network in 2012 as a UM/CM Outpatient Clinical Specialist, and later became the Manager of Adult MH/SU Care Management at Smoky Mountain Center LME/MCO in 2013. Since 2017, Laura has been working at Vaya Health in various roles, including Clinical Informatics Specialist, Clinical Systems Integration Manager, and currently as the Clinical Systems Strategy Director.
Laura Woodrup obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2002. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at East Carolina University, earning a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy between 2003 and 2005.
