Ganesh Srinivasan

Ganesh is a Partner based in Venrock’s Palo Alto office with a focus in the areas of cloud computing infrastructure, developer tools and open source software.

Prior to joining Venrock, Ganesh was most recently Chief Product Officer at Confluent, a commercial open-source data infrastructure company that IPO’d in 2021. During his time at Confluent, his team grew 20x as he led the company’s transition from an open-source, on-premise model to a cloud-based SaaS offering.

In the past decade, he also helped scale engineering teams at Uber as VP of Engineering, and LinkedIn during their hyper-growth phase. Ganesh has also been an active angel investor and advisor to numerous developer tools and infrastructure companies.

Ganesh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
