Daniel Henrique Barboza has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Daniel currently holds the position of Hypervisor/Emulation Software Engineer at Ventana Micro Systems, starting in December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at IBM for a significant period of time, starting in March 2008. At IBM, they held multiple roles, including Advisory Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer. In their role as Staff Software Engineer, they were the maintainer of the Ginger project and made contributions to other open source projects such as the Kimchi project, QEMU, libguestfs/supermin, and noVNC. Before joining IBM, they worked as a Software Engineer at CFlex BrainMerge from September 2005 to June 2007.
Daniel Henrique Barboza attended the Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2001 to 2008, where they obtained a Mestre degree in Redes de Computadores (Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications).
